Poultry Worksop to Discuss Breeds, Nutrition, Diseases, Marketing10 August 2012
US - University of Illinois Extension will be offering two workshops aimed at people who are interested in raising chickens on small farms.
Raising chickens is both easy and “green.” Chickens are among the easiest, most forgiving, creatures for a small farm to manage.
Join U of I specialists Ken Koelkebeck and Pam Utterback to learn the basics on Wednesday, August 29. This workshop will be beneficial for both the seasoned and new poultry raisers.
The morning workshop will be at U of I Extension, Grundy County, 4004 N Division, Morris, Ill., from 9 am to noon.
For further information contact U of I Extension, Grundy County, at 815-942-2725, check its website, or contact James Theuri at 815-933-8337 or email@example.com.
